Alongside Joshua’s professional dance career he is also a sought after teacher. Joshua believes that his new found passion for teaching and passing on his knowledge and experience stems from having been surrounded and taught by incredible teachers throughout his own training and his career. 

 

Joshua is currently a classical ballet tutor at Elmhurst Ballet School - in association with The Birmingham Royal Ballet. Alongside this he is a guest teacher throughout the UK at various vocational dance schools, professional companies, and runs his own masterclasses. He also has his own class at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturdays which is open to all.

 

Joshua teaches many adult classes where he has found a huge connection and love for creating a positive, encouraging and fun environment. 

Predominately teaching classical ballet and contemporary however Joshua has trained in many genres. 

 

Joshua has his Level 4 teaching certificate with the I.ST.D Cecchetti Society and teaches for various dance schools throughout the UK, syllabus work, free classes and coaching.

 

Alongside teaching classical ballet and contemporary for a range of abilities, Joshua is also an ambassador for All Style Dance Workout. A new dance fitness brand that specialises in using multi dance genres to get you smiling, sweating and moving! The brand offer classes for adults and children.
