My gosh... it has certainly been a long time since I have written a post here hasn't it!? I know I don't have to tell you all, you know exactly how busy life is and gets and then suddenly the months have passed by and time has ticked along!

I am writing this blog as I sit at our family home in Spain watching the day go by, and listening to the sea hitting the shore and reflecting in the blissful quiet

and calm surroundings.

I always find once I get away from the daily routine and lifestyle I have time and the headspace to do all of the little things I enjoy, such as writing, reading and walking, and I am determined to try and bring those elements back home with me to London when I say adios to Spain.

So... what has been going on since I last wrote to you? Hmm, well I have completed my second full academic year at Elmhurst Ballet School which is very exciting. I feel very privileged to work in such an enriching, supportive and nurturing environment and as the months have passed I have realised just how much I love helping the next generations with their journeys into this incredible world of show business.

My open class at Pineapple Dance Studios is going from strength to strength, I am so lucky to have the talented Matt Gregory play for me each week and together we are looking at ways to push the class and take it to the next level... Stay tuned for news on this is the coming weeks!

I also continue my weekly All Style Dance Workout class via Zoom, which really is a highlight of my week. We have become a close knit group and it really is a lovely energy each week to come together from all across the UK to dance, laugh and move!

My family are all well, my parents were able to come to Elmhurst at the end of term to enjoy the 100th year celebration gala which was incredible to share that moment with them. My partner and I got engaged in Summer 2022 and continue to push our own journeys whilst being each other's main supporters. As we all know life in 2o23 is very hectic and busy, but it is always nice to find moments like this, sitting here today and just to acknowledge all of the good things that are going on around us.

I would like to thank you all for the continued support, encouragement and belief that you give me. I love what I do and if I am able to help and inspire even just one person, then it will all be worth it! So I hope you can continue on this journey with me and let us see what the next academic year brings for all of us!.

I hope to see you at a class soon either in person or online, and as always if I can be of any help please do just reach out via social media or the site.

I wish you a fantastic Summer, keep going and always find one thing each day to smile at!

Take care,

Well!... Where to start!?

I must apologise for not updating my blog for so long! Like for all of us, 2021 has been quite the year full of change, challenges and differences so it has been quite a task to keep on top of everything!

I am writing this as I sit in my new home with a cup of tea looking out of the window and I must say I am feeling incredibly grateful. This year has brought me a lot of changes but all of them have been exciting and very positive.

The main news to share if you did not know is from September, I accepted a full time role as classical ballet tutor for the upper school at Elmhurst Ballet School - in association with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. This is not only an incredible opportunity itself, but is so very special as this is where I trained as a dancer so it really is a full circle and feels a real honour to be back and helping to shape the next generation of dancers.

My own class at Pineapple Dance Studios is thriving with a great regular group of followers mixed with lovely new faces each week. Matt Gregory, the insanely talented pianist is our resident accompanist and makes every Saturday a real joy and I alongside all the participants are so grateful to have him with us. The class is general level and we have dancers who are starting out their journey in ballet combined with full time students and professionals. There is a very positive, community feel and you are more than welcome to join us!

On a personal side, my father was incredibly ill during the middle of 2021 and had to undergo major heart surgery. It was an incredibly scary and difficult time for us as a family but I am very happy to say that he has come through and is recovering very well. I must thank you all for the love and support you gave my family and I during that very challenging time.

2021 has been quite the year and one like I have never experienced before. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to all of us, yet we have fought back and tried our upmost best to keep going. I would like to extend all of my gratitude to each and everyone of you who have supported me during this time, whether it be joining a class of mine, sharing my work, a simple call or text or a walk around the park. I am incredibly grateful and will not forget the generosity and support you have shown me this past year!

I wish you all a very enjoyable festive period and a prosperous new year!

Love
